Royal Cabinet · Institutional profile
What this chamber does
The Royal Cabinet identifies the Chamber of the Interior as the specialist chamber whose head advises the King on internal governance and administration, oversees implementation of Government policies and services, and manages public services to meet the needs of citizens.
Relationship and public use
This Chamber operates within the Royal Cabinet. For a general Government service matter, use Government Services. To send correspondence specifically concerning the Interior portfolio, use the Government Correspondence & Service Response Center; Government administration can route the matter when the responsible service is not clear.
Records and services
The current Cabinet source establishes a broad internal-governance and public-service portfolio. Use the responsible Government service for an operational request. For an existing Government record, use Government Records & Transparency or the Government Registrar to locate the responsible source register.
Offline and paper access
If online service is unavailable, use the Government Services or Government Correspondence paper-continuity packet appropriate to the matter. These packets preserve manual intake, receipt, routing, handling, notice, and later digital reconciliation.
