Kheh'dher of Veteran Affairs

A protected administrative front door for service-history source references, Veteran/service-family inquiries, record corrections, assistance/program intake, transition/support referrals and memorial-record matters.

Responsible office

Veteran & Service-Family Administration · Kheh'dher of Veteran Affairs.

Source-backed records

Government owns this administrative intake, routing, paper continuity and Government record chronology. Where an underlying record belongs to I.U.S.C., I.U.S.C. remains the separate source owner and Government preserves and routes the supplied source reference. Government recognition, program and benefit effects are recorded from the applicable competent Government source instrument.

Source references remain in review until a competent-source adapter validates them. Public source-reference verification opens after source verification and public authorization.

Recognition and benefits

This office receives source-reference requests and records existing competent sources. Recognition, award, benefit, disability, eligibility and entitlement effects are recorded from the applicable source owner and authoritative instrument.

Memorial records

Memorial inquiries and correction requests are handled as source-backed records. Publication or status-bearing death, service, veteran, honor and memorial-eligibility facts require separately verified source evidence and authorization.

Paper and offline continuity

When the network is unavailable, use the controlled Veteran & Service-Family paper packet. It includes intake, service-history/source-reference, assistance/referral, recognition/benefit, memorial/correction, receipt/status, custody and reconciliation forms. The receiving office assigns a sequential PPR reference, issues a receipt, protects restricted sheets, records custody, and later reconciles the original paper provenance without backdating the digital record.
