Office of Communications

Public distribution, publication operations, source-gated warning dissemination, and communications continuity.

Purpose and responsibility

The Office of Communications operates public-distribution and publication workflows: public warnings after source authorization, Gazette/public-notice publication support, bulletin and posting distribution, radio-script continuity, and public communication delivery records. It does not create the substantive authority, incident finding, legal effect, or emergency command behind a source record.

Records and services

  • warning publication and distribution records
  • physical posting and bulletin transmission logs
  • radio/voice script transmission records
  • Gazette/public-notice publication routing and related references
  • correction, cancellation and supersession distribution history

Use the office

Members of the public can check current source-gated warnings and the Gazette. Authorized staff use the protected publication desks attached to those mechanisms; publication capability alone cannot satisfy the warning source gate.

Use Government Correspondence for a public inquiry, clarification request, or service-response matter requiring routing to the responsible Government office.

Offline access

During a network outage, use the Emergency / Public Warning Paper Packet for authorization checking, issue/update/cancellation, physical posting, bulletins, radio readout, manual register control and later provenance-preserving digital reconciliation.
